Using the IMail Interface to Manage Email
CTB uses email server software called IMail. IMail allows people to log onto their email accounts from anywhere with a standard web browser and connection to the Internet.
To access your IMail server, simply type the appropriate URL address into the web browser, and press the "Enter" key. The URL address is:
http://ctbmail.ctb123.net
Once you have accessed your domain's IMail login screen (see graphic below):
- Enter your Username in the blank provided. Your Username is your entire email address (ex: yourname@yourdomain.com).
- Enter your Password in the blank provided. You should have received your password from your Webmaster or from a member of the ComeToBuy, Inc. technical staff.
- If you are the only one who uses your computer, you can check the boxes to remember your Username and password. If you share a computer or use a public terminal, leave these boxes unchecked.
- Click on the "Login" button.
Once you have logged your email account, you will find that the main screen is fairly easy to navigate. The left side menu (see graphic below) provides a quick overview of your email boxes. If there are messages in the Inbox, there will there will also be a links to view each one.
In this example below, there are no email messages in the inbox.
Below the Email mailbox listing, there are tabs enabling you to insert addresses, set up rules, and change your account preferences (including your password).
The IMail Help section is very good, and a button to access the help information is found on the top right corner of the IMail screen, next to the Log Out button. If you need additional help, please contact your Webmaster or your CTB project manager.
